Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Soho, Inc. ("Soho," "we," "us") operates the soho.chat website and the Soho companion service you reach by text message (together, the "Service"). This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Soho is an AI system, not a human, and the Service is for adults 18 and older.

2. What we collect

• Your phone number, because the Service runs over text messaging.
• Your messages with Soho, including details you choose to share in conversation and the preferences Soho remembers to personalize your experience. Your first message may include a short code that tells us which ad or link brought you, used for measuring campaigns.
• Onboarding details you provide, such as your name, age confirmation, and companion preferences.
• Billing information, handled by our payment processor. We receive confirmation of payment status but do not store your full card number.
• Technical data from the website, such as IP address, device type, and pages viewed.

3. Conversations are sensitive, and we treat them that way

Conversations with Soho can be intimate and may include adult content. We treat message content as sensitive information: we never sell it, we never share it with advertisers or use it to target ads, and access inside the company is restricted to people who need it for the purposes described in this policy.

4. How we use your information

• Running Soho: receiving your messages, generating replies, and maintaining the memory that makes Soho feel like Soho.
• Safety: automated systems screen for content we prohibit, such as anything involving minors, and for fraud and abuse.
• Billing and support: managing subscriptions, processing payments, and answering you when you write in.
• Improving the Service: understanding usage and evaluating quality so Soho gets better. We do not use your conversation content to train AI models.
• Measuring campaigns: connecting a first message code or a site visit to the campaign that produced it.
• Legal: complying with law and protecting our rights and yours.

5. AI processing

Soho's replies are generated by AI models, which may include models run by third-party AI infrastructure providers under contracts that prohibit them from using your content for their own purposes. Humans at Soho do not read your conversations except where needed for safety review, legal compliance, support you have requested, or limited quality assurance, and access is logged and restricted.

6. When we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• Service providers that help us run the Service: message delivery, AI infrastructure, payment processing, hosting, and analytics, each limited by contract to working on our behalf.
• Ad platforms, if you arrived through an ad: limited conversion events (for example, that a visit led to a subscription) so campaigns can be measured. Never your message content.
• Authorities, where the law requires it, including mandatory reports relating to child exploitation, or to protect rights and safety.
• A successor, if Soho is acquired or merged, in which case this policy continues to apply to your data.

7. Discreet by design

Charges appear under a neutral billing descriptor that does not reference Soho. There is no public profile, no social graph, and no discovery feed. The Service exists between you and Soho.

8. Retention and deletion

We keep your conversation history and Soho's memory of you while you use the Service, so conversations can continue where they left off. Text "delete" to Soho at any time, or email contact@soho.chat, and we will erase your conversation history and memory from our active systems within 30 days and confirm when it is done. Copies in backups age out on the backup schedule. We keep billing and compliance records longer where the law requires, and security logs for incident response.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what we hold about you, get a copy, correct it, delete it, opt out of sale or sharing, limit use of sensitive information, and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We honor the rights granted by your state's privacy law. To exercise any of them, text "delete" to Soho or email contact@soho.chat. We will verify the request came from you, usually by confirming control of your phone number, and respond within 45 days.

10. Adults only

The Service is for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and if we learn we have, we delete it promptly and end the account. If you believe a minor has used the Service, contact contact@soho.chat.

11. Security

We use commercially reasonable safeguards, including encryption in transit and restricted access to production systems. No security is perfect, and we cannot guarantee your information is immune from every attack. Standard text messaging is delivered by carriers and platforms we do not control.

12. Do Not Track

The website does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals. If that changes, this policy will say so.

13. Changes

We may update this policy as the Service evolves. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date, and where appropriate we will tell you by message or email.
